PolyOil® polymer cable protectors (patent pending) are all based on a standard design theme, utilising a hinged arrangement to allow for easy fitting to tubing at mid joint or cross coupling positions. The weight saving advantage not only makes for easier and safer fitting but also allows a “full form design” which improves the shape for a sleeker shape for trouble free deployment.

Originally cable clamps were designed for straight or slightly deviated well bores inside casing, and now with the introduction of smart well monitoring and intelligent completions (eg fibre optic monitoring and surface controlled flow valves) along the horizontal reservoir - the needs have changed. Our game-changing cable protectors are dual functional by providing centralisation which is essential for horizontal or open hole wells. Centralisation increases the effective OD, thereby minimising the transition to tubular buckling but also reducing the friction during deployment.
